Jacqueline Fougeray Woodruff passed away the day following her 72nd birthday on November 30, 2012 following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was in her Pleasanton home, surrounded by loved ones. Born November 29, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pa., Jackie grew up wanting to see the world.
Her family moved to Patterson, CA when she was three and then relocated to Pleasanton where she graduated from Amador Valley High School in 1963. She married Robert V. Miller on December 30, 1967 at the original Presbyterian Church at 100 Neal Street in Pleasanton. After 16 years in Pleasanton, she moved to Hawaii for 16 years before returning to Pleasanton for the final 18 years of her working career.
Shortly thereafter he was called to start a new Lutheran church at Stanford; while there he also received his PhD in Education. After working in educational administration, he became an Episcopalian and started by leading an Episcopal congregation in Hayward that had lost its building as part of a lawsuit and needed to build a new church. Vincent Delaney, a 50 year resident of Pleasanton, died on March 28, 2015. He was born in San Jose, CA. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Operating Engineers Local Union # 3 at the age of 62.
Born July 31, 1935 to the late Lillian Elizabeth Butler in Palm Springs, CA on an Indian Reservation. As a boy, he was called "Deanie" after Dean, the name of their Cherokee Tribe. He married the love of his life, Judy Ann at 19 years of age, Judy was 16. They were married 63 years until Judy’s passing March 2018.

Percy worked at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point until his retirement in 1969. Percy passed in 1998 in Sarasota, Florida at 94 and Lillian in 2006 in Pleasanton, California at 102.
Helen and her husband remained in Pleasanton the rest of their lives; first renting a home on Rose Avenue and then buying a home in Pleasanton Heights. Jerry sustained a debilitating back injury while working at the Cheese Factory. No longer able to do the heavy lifting required in making cheese, they purchased the Bottle Shop, a liquor store in nearby Fremont. She was also a fantastic cook, preparing tantalizing Greek cuisine and serving it along with her quick wit. Jerry and Helen worked together almost every day at the store, building a devoted stream of customers and supporting each other through 26 years of their ownership. Warren MacLeod Annis passed away on Dec. 21, 2013, from natural causes.
